A Career On One Ramp

One fleet, built as a ladder

Most schools hand you off to a different airport the moment you outgrow the trainer. Here, every rating from your first lesson to a multi-engine checkride is flown from the same hangar — so nothing about your training ever starts over.

🛩️

Learn to fly

Start in the Skycatcher, Warrior, or DA20 for your Sport or Private certificate — light, honest airplanes that reward good habits.

⚙️

Go professional

Move up to the 200-hp Arrow for complex time and your Commercial, then the Seminole for the multi-engine rating airlines expect.

✈️

Fly the flagship

Transition into the turbocharged SR22 with glass avionics and a whole-airframe parachute — the airplane many owners fly for real.

Two More Cockpits

Cockpits that never leave the hangar

Our fleet does not stop at six airplanes. A full-motion Redbird MCX and a Redbird TD2 let you rehearse emergencies, instrument approaches, and the exact procedures you will fly next — without burning avgas or waiting on weather. Approved simulator hours count toward your certificate, and they make every real lesson go further.

Our Standard

Maintained in-house, flown every day

These are not tired rentals. Our aircraft are cared for by our own maintenance team on the field, configured for one job — training — and inspected on a schedule that keeps them dispatch-ready so your lessons actually happen on time.

Fleet-Wide

Start with a discovery flight

Not sure where you belong on the ladder? Take the controls first. Book an introductory flight in the airplane that interests you and decide with your hands, not a brochure.

FAQ

Fleet questions, answered

Which airplane will I start in?
Most new students begin in the Cessna 162 Skycatcher, Piper Warrior, or Diamond DA20 — light, forgiving trainers ideal for a Sport or Private certificate. Your instructor will help you pick the best fit on your first flight.
Do I train at one airport the whole way through?
Yes. Every aircraft in the fleet, from the trainer to the twin, is based at Van Nuys Airport (KVNY). You never have to change schools or airports to move up to your next rating.
Can I fly more than one type of airplane?
Absolutely. As you progress you will transition into higher-performance and complex aircraft. Rated pilots can also get checked out to rent aircraft in the fleet.
How much does it cost to fly each aircraft?
Hourly rates range from $179 per hour on our package pricing for the trainers up to the Seminole and SR22 Turbo. See the comparison table above for the current standard and package rate on every airplane.
Are the airplanes glass-panel equipped?
Several are. The Skycatcher flies behind a Garmin G300 glass panel and the SR22 has full Cirrus Perspective avionics, while other aircraft carry Garmin 430 navigators — so you build both steam-gauge and glass experience.
What is the largest airplane you train in?
The twin-engine Piper Seminole for the multi-engine rating, and the 310-hp turbocharged Cirrus SR22 for high-performance and transition training — the two most capable aircraft on the line.
