The Only One In The Los Angeles Area

FAA-Approved Full-Motion Redbird MCX Simulator

No other flight school in LA trains on anything like it. Our top-of-the-line Redbird MCX banks, pitches and responds like a real aircraft — and because it's FAA-approved, the hours you fly in it go straight into your logbook. It's woven into every syllabus, with up to 50 hours creditable toward your Commercial Pilot License.

Full Immersive Visuals

Wraparound visuals put you inside the flight — weather, terrain and traffic rendered around you, not on a desktop screen.

True Motion Platform

The MCX moves with you. Realistic motion cues build muscle memory and reaction time the way only flight can.

Dual Controls · Single & Multi-Engine

Fly side-by-side with your instructor in single- or multi-engine configuration — every lesson collaborative, every scenario real.

  • Instrument procedures & IFR mastery — approaches, holds and partial-panel, repeatable on demand
  • Emergency scenarios flown safely — engine-outs, system failures, weather escapes with no real-world risk
  • Single & multi-engine, dual controls — you and your instructor, side by side
  • Full-motion muscle memory — the platform banks and pitches with you, so your body learns to fly

In Every Syllabus. Not An Upsell.

Simulator sessions are scheduled into every program from day one — that's how our students fly sharper and spend less.

  • Private Pilot — procedures, pattern work & first emergencies in the sim before the sky
  • Instrument Rating — IFR scenarios, real weather playbooks, unlimited repetition
  • Commercial Pilot — log up to 50 simulator hours toward your certificate
  • Airline Program — crew-style scenario training from first lesson to final checkride
Private Pilot FAQ

Questions, Answered

How long does it take to get my Private Pilot License?
Most students need 40 to 60 hours of flight time. With our accelerated FAA-approved syllabus you can finish in under 30 days, or train part-time around your schedule — we fly seven days a week, 9 AM to 9 PM.
What does the Private Pilot course cost?
Our three packages are Standard ($10,400 / 40 hours), Comprehensive ($15,400 / 60 hours), and Turbo Cirrus ($23,400 / 40 hours) — each $500 off this summer. Every package is fully itemized and customizable, so doing your own ground school or needing fewer hours costs less.
What are the requirements to start?
You must be at least 17 to earn the certificate (you can start training earlier), able to read, speak and understand English, and hold at least a third-class FAA medical certificate. No prior experience is needed — most students begin with a discovery flight.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Packages start at $2,500 down with monthly payments — for example, the Standard package is $2,500 down plus 4 monthly payments of $1,974. Ask about flexible financing during your free consultation.
Which aircraft will I train in?
As the largest flight school in the LA area, we fly Piper, Cessna, Diamond and Cirrus aircraft — plus an FAA-approved Redbird MCX full-motion simulator. You'll become a confident, well-rounded pilot.
Can simulator hours count toward my license?
Yes. Our Redbird MCX is an FAA-approved Advanced Aviation Training Device — up to 2.5 hours count toward the Private certificate (§61.109), and up to 50 hours toward a Commercial certificate later, saving you real money.
What happens at the end of training?
Once you've completed the required training you take the FAA Practical Exam (the "checkride") — an oral and a flight test with a designated examiner. Pass both and you'll receive a temporary certificate on the spot.
Can I visit before I enroll?
Absolutely — and we recommend it. Book a free in-person consultation to tour the school, meet the instructors, see the fleet and simulator, and leave with a personal training plan and exact pricing.
